TING LAN

Ting has been a makeup & hair stylist for 15+ years and is currently based in Orange County, CA.

Ting began developing her artistic ability in the form of portrait painting as a young child, and continued learning about skincare, makeup, and beauty during her time as a flight attendant for Cathay Pacific.

In 2011, Ting decided to step away from being a flight attendant to follow her passion and pursue a career in beauty. She traveled around the globe, taking many professional makeup classes from Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan, and attended the Makeup Designory School in Burbank, CA.

With loyal clients in both the fashion and bridal industry, Ting continued honing her craft, eventually creating and perfecting her signature look: The Natural Style. She believes makeup should accentuate one’s beauty rather than cover it, with her specialty being flawless skin. She’s known for her impeccable attention to detail in creating natural, flawless looks that make her clients walk away with smiles on their faces.

With several years of experience in beauty for film, fashion, and the bridal industry – some of her star clients include Chriselle Lim, Arden Cho, Henry and Liv Golding, Janet Hsieh, George Young, and Ashlyn Pearce. She recently lent her talents to celebrity Vaness Wu's music video “Take a Ride.”

She also works with many influencers and industry professionals for events and red carpets.

Ting Makeup was founded by Ting Lan in 2011, serving Los Angeles and Orange County with a studio located in Irvine, CA. However, destination weddings are always welcome.

Ting is a true artist at heart with a keen sense of style – she leads her talented team of artists and provides them with both the training and the insight needed to exceed client’s expectations.

Each of our artists brings exceptional talent and extensive experience to the team. We work very closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met, using only high-end cosmetics and hair products to provide the look of their dreams. When our clients are happy, we are happy.
