Nearing the end of the past year, we held a special workshop covering all things “holiday”! Our team here at Ting Makeup collaborated with our friends at clothing brand, Morning Lavender, to offer our attendees a new take on their holiday styling! Morning Lavender is a wonderful shopping destination for all things sweet and romantic. Filled with delicate lace pieces and pastel numbers, shoppers would be delighted to browse through the unique selection featured on their site!
Here is an amazing video created by Chris Ace Films to showcase our Holiday Glam Workshop
We absolutely love everything they brought to our workshop! Our model Nicole and Ting are both wearing dresses from Morning Lavender.
With tables full of scrumptious sweets and a location reminiscent of a French café, it almost seemed as though our attendees walked into a tea party rather than a workshop! Even better? Our ladies perused shiny baubles, beautiful clothing, and were ready to learn our beauty secrets and techniques! Thanks to Star Events Floral Designs by Jennie, the floral tabletop décor was just what we needed to complement our romantic aesthetic for the event.
So what was the icing on top of our cake? We were honored to have the talented photographer, Sowen Photography, and brilliant videographer, Chris Ace Films there to help capture every moment of this occasion. They were such a joy to work with and the end results were fabulous!
The Class:
We introduced some of our favorite beauty staples and holiday limited edition products with our class. We’re talking: foundations, brushes, corrective products, contour and highlights, and more. With the holiday season, you can expect some glitz and glamour from some amazing beauty brands!
The class learned how to find the perfect match of foundation and how to properly use the makeup brushes to flawlessly apply their base. The class also learned the tips and tricks in complexion correction and face shaping through the use of cream contour and highlighting products! Cheeks were kept natural with a fresh flush fit for the cold. After all, don’t we all lust after that naturally airbrushed look for those holiday Kodak moments?
We introduced the hottest eye shadow trend for the season to our class: smoky eyes with gold shimmery hues and neutral tones. Loose glitter has had its comeback before, but a subdued shimmer is always here to stay during the holiday season!
Every girl’s “deserted island product” is the wondrous eyeliner to draw that perfect winged line to last the day. We showed the ladies how to perfect the winged eye look along with choosing the proper false lashes to flatter their individual eye shape.
Our guests also learned about the most flattering eyebrow shapes for each face type.
Whether you’re sipping on champagne at a New Year’s countdown event or sitting around roasting marshmallows with friends, the holiday lip trend definitely can suit both dressy and more casual events. We demonstrated how to master the bold red lip and a perfect nude lip for any occasion!
At the end of our workshop, the ladies were ready for their upcoming party plans! We had such an amazing time spending the day with the ladies and sharing our new intel on holiday glamour!
We feel so blessed to be supported by our dear friends and amazing vendors in the industry
