We’re sharing a page out of our everyday stylebook with a casual, street-chic look for those coffee shop meets and weekend outings! Here in sunny Los Angeles, oversized sweaters are year-round closet staples that don’t seem to budge from our closet spaces. Days are warm but breezy. Which means sometimes a cozy knit sweater is enough to help tango with the temperatures.
For this style post, we stuck with a monotone color scheme mixing salt n’ pepper grays and black. Our oversized Brandy Melville knit sweater was perfect for that sunny Cali afternoon. We threw on a pair of black skinnies and our favorite black Tory Burch boots to create an easy-to-coordinate look.
For that extra downtown sass, we sported an Eric Javits fedora to add a touch of street edge to the look. To add a little funk, we rocked a pair of mirrored shades by Eyecupcakes and grabbed our Loeffler Randall Lock Clutch before heading out the door.
What are some of your street chic staples for those casual days out?
Behind the Lens:
We are so blessed to have one of our favorite photographers, Sam Lim Studio, along with us for this shoot. You may have seen him frequent our previous bridal blog posts. His wedding work is absolutely magical, but he’s also credited as an amazing commercial and fashion photographer. We have been fortunate enough to meet the talented likes of him by working together at fashion shoots with some of our favorite clients, Greylin and Adelyn Rae.
