Orange Lace

Ringing in the New Year

“5… 4… 3… 2…. 1…!”

The last numbers shared among loved ones all around the globe will bring everyone around the world into the New Year together.
With such a crowd, there should be no doubt in your mind about finding that perfect number to ring in the new year.

We know that we love anything sparkly and new, but what about this orange Adelyn Rae dress from their Spring 2015 collection?
Sequins may be too loud at times, but the bold orange color of this dress makes just as many heads turn without looking like a disco ball.

Lady in Red

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday of the year. While I’m kind of sad that it’s now passed, the city is still filled with decorated trees and the holiday spirit still lingers in the air. Keeping the holiday spirit very much alive is this cute red dress from Anthropologie. This beautiful dress has an all-over lace pattern, which I complimented with just a few accessories. In this case, simple does the trick.

The Princess In Every Girl

Organza. Satin. Chiffon. Different materials can change the feel of a wedding gown; in its entirety. You can feel regal with a full, billowing organza skirt or carefree with a simple, flowing satin train. But to feel like a true princess, there is no better material than tulle.  Tulle is a light and airy material that exudes fantasy and whimsy, fitting for a fanciful engagement photoshoot. A perfect example of a fantastical tulle dress is modeled by one of Ting Makeup and Hair’s favorite fashion icons, Olivia Palermo. She paired a simple white top with a full-length, lace embroidered tulle skirt designed by Carolina Herrera.

Love For Beauty

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog! My name is Ting, I am the owner of TING Makeup & Hair. Our team specializes in doing makeup & hair for weddings & fashion shoots. I’ve created this blog to share my addiction to makeup, skincare, fashion, and weddings.

I grew up in a very artistic family and started drawing at the age of 5. My mother first introduced me to cosmetics when I had to prep for my first ballet performance. And, that was also when I learned how to remove makeup and use skincare products properly on my face. My mother always said: “makeup will not damage your skin if you know how to cleanse and take care of your skin”

I am a shopaholic when it comes to cosmetics & skincare products. I travel a lot and I’m always on a hunt to search for new products from different countries. I will be posting my journey as a makeup artist and at the same time, introduce new products that I have discovered.

xoxo,
Ting
