In collaboration with one of our favorite online retailers, Morning Lavender, we shot and styled a look-book for them with real-life couple, Kim and Nicole! Morning Lavender is one of our personal go-to sites for chic attire at an affordable price. This is an excerpt of one couple from a look-book Morning Lavender created with four other couples.

We styled our model, Nicole, in 3 different Valentine looks with Morning Lavender’s Exclusive Valentine Collection. Her fiance, Kim, followed suit with her selected looks choosing pieces from his very own closet to match. They were such a lovely couple to shoot!

Here we show how to style a Valentines worthy look from day-to-night!

 

Look 1: Lady in Red

A burgundy red cocktail dress is perfect for that Valentine’s dinner date. The dress features a lady-like midi skirt and a strapless sweetheart neckline. This look is a great choice for a feminine and flirty evening look.

Look 2: Two-Piece Sweetheart

Two-piece sets in matching patterns have been all the rage as of late. This two-piece lace combo is nothing short of classy. With a feminine lace pattern, the crop top effect adds a fun twist to an otherwise conservative look. We’re sure you’ll make your date’s head turn in this during that brunch or luncheon date!

Look 3: Easy Breezy

For that downtown stroll or easy, breezy day at the beach, we styled an adorable, effortless look with a polka-dot romper. Not just your average romper, this one features blouse-like long sleeves with a drop shoulder effect and ruffle-trimmed shorts. This look is fun, sexy, and sweet altogether!

Behind the Lens: Kim Le

Kim Le is not only a good friend of ours but also a well-known photographer in the Orange County area. She may be skillful with the lens, but she also shares her amazing taste for fashion by penning the ever-chic fashion blog, Lace and Locks. Fortunate for us, we had her on board to help take these romantic photos at the shoot!
