A Seaside Birthday Gathering

The cool, fresh oceanside breeze danced with the sheer, white curtains. All you can hear are the quiet tapping of forks returning to their plates after bringing satisfying smiles to diners around. In the midst of it all, you can hear the chatter of good friends united in celebration for a dear friend.

It was a birthday gathering for our very own founder of Ting Makeup and Hair, Ting, at The Penthouse at the Huntley Hotel. The Penthouse is one of her favorite brunch spots for some scrumptious dishes and fabulous cocktails amid a gorgeous view of the Santa Monica beach.

The dress code for the birthday bash was classic black for the ladies attending. The ladies all wore attire suitable for a cocktail party while the host wore a vibrant pink Marchesa Notte number. This is a wonderful way to style the birthday girl because the bright pink was a lovely pop of color.

The table setting was adorned with a beautiful floral centerpiece by Star Events Floral Designs . The beautiful oxblood red, pink, and white roses were set
in a speckled gold vase adding a luxurious effect to the spread.

With great food and drinks and regal chandeliers hanging from above, the posh party was fit for a princess. On the scene to help capture the endearing moments was our photographer, Johnny Wang from Yellow Fin Studios. Johnny is a dear friend of ours who did a fabulous job helping us snap these beautiful memories.
